William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody enjoyed living in the age of photography, lithography, and even into the era of silent film. Unfortunately, only a few hundred feet of his two films have been discovered and preserved. Over the years others and I have pursued leads concerning these films but to no avail.  If it is not already lost, it is disintegrating daily and will soon be gone forever. If anyone knows of the whereabouts of the original film stock of either of Cody’s movies, please contact me immediately.
